Dearborn Commission on Disability Concerns

Jane Nelson Thomas is a life long resident of Dearborn and a product of the Dearborn Public Schools.~ She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Eastern Michigan University.~ She received an Associate's degree in nursing from Henry Ford Hospital and completed a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Wayne State University.

Jane's 22 years of clinical nursing includes that of critical care nursing and home care nursing (Visiting Nurse).~ She currently holds a management position with Wayne Center which provides support coordination for individuals with developmental disabilities throughout life's continuum~ throughout Wayne County. She is the Clinical and Administrative Supervisor for Nursing, Occupational~ Therapy and our Speech & Language services.
